They weren't as lost as I thought.

Recent quotes that I found adorable/amusing:

Adorable:

Me: You stole Carl and Chuckanucka, didn't you?
Jefri: Yeah, it's so you guys will come visit us and watch House.
Me: Awww! That's so cute!

Amusing:

Me: Ugh, I need Carl. I have nobody to cuddle with at night!
Kayla: You can cuddle with meeee, Megan!
Me: No.

The problem with right now is, though that was a very sweet gesture of the boys, I have no Carl to cuddle with and he is somewhere on his own, cold and freezing with nothing but Purple Bear to comfort him. And possibly Jefri.

Operation: Get Carl back.

(Perhaps they are not all as lost as I think...)

Carl, Chuckanucka, Wedgehead and Purple Bear are all missing. I would send one of the Uglies to go find them, but, well, you get the idea.

Adventures With Uglies: Part One

One day, while having a delightful cup of tea, Purple Bear seemed to notice that there was something strange. The others had yet to recognize the absence, but with Purple Bear's acute sense of surroundings he knew that there was something quite off about their afternoon cup of tea.
"Why, our dearest friend Chuckanucka is missing! How on earth did this happen?" said Purple Bear as he sipped politely on his cup of herbal tea. The others, Carl and Wedgehead, knew that something must be done about their poor friend who didn't seem to be anywhere in sight.
"We must look for him, post haste!" the three said in unison and quickly abandoned their tea time, saving it for a later date, and decided to spend however long it would take to find their dear friend who had seemed to lose his way sometime ago.
"He's not under the bed!" stated Wedgehead who had spent some time searching the dark corners of beneath their living space.
"He's not on the top bunk!" shouted Purple Bear from high atop the bunk beds. This place was as desolate as a snowy wasteland and was often untouched by the Uglies, it was no surprise that their friend Chuckanucka was not there.
"Well he certainly isn't under the rug." said Carl who was searching diligently.
"Why, he's not even in this shoe!"
"Nor is he in the cup! I wonder where he could be..." Carl was beginning to grow worried.
Wedgehead decided to look in places that nobody had ever thought of going before, as they knew their friend could be adventurous sometimes. "He's not even in the fridge!" he said after one good, long search. "How strange that he is not even in the places that we would never have thought of looking in."
"WAIT! I SEE HIM!" shouted Purple Bear as Carl got himself into some trouble with a brush.
"There is our dear Chuckanucka, stuck in mortal peril! Whatever will we do?" The others shrugged and then decided, now that they had found their friend, there was really only one option left.
Tea Time. The end!

Adventures to be had.

2:35 PM 2/05/2008: We get the call from Carmen to pick her up and then take her to Joel and Ryee's as Joel's car has run out of gas. After abandoning our goings on, we leave for the parking lot to find Carmen's car and take her to the boy's house.
2:43 PM 2/05/2008: Unfortunately for us, we couldn't find the car right away. It is some time before we actually get into the Ford Focus and are on our way to Kafka (a coffee shop that is good for studying time) to pick up Carmen.
2:56 PM 2/05/2008: We pick up Carmen. We go to Joel and Ryee's. Joel and Ryee get in the car. I get out the camera and Joel shows opposition but nobody cares what he says.
3:11 PM 2/05/2008: Carmen is driving the car and we leave the boy's apartment's driveway, then head on our way to a gas station of any choice. Carmen asks if Conoco is okay.
3:13 PM 2/05/2008: Ryee responds that Conoco is okay.
3:28 PM 2/05/2008: The car is filled with gas and Carmen gets a call from Rachel, she asks to be picked up and Carmen obliges as a good friend would do. We think that is very nice of Carmen. Angela and I sit in the car after taking pictures of Joel and Ryee filling up the gas tank. Joel opposed the whole thing.
3:32 PM 2/05/2008: Joel's hands smell like gasoline and do so the whole way back to the boy's house. It is gross, but not as gross as the dead rat that I had to dissect today. It was the only rat that was a boy and we got to pull up certain parts through parts where they should not be pulled through. It smelled like death and poop. Oh yeah, eventually we drop off Joel and Ryee.
3:43 PM 2/05/2008: We pick up Rachel and take her home. Her mailbox is working, this is a nice thing.
3:56 PM 2/05/2008: Carmen pulls up in front of LA Hall. We are dropped off and the adventure is officially over. Kayla is still studying at Kafka.
